The Dr. Uzor Cares Foundation has extended financial assistance to the family of Rev. Henry Chukwujekwu to help offset medical expenses following the successful delivery of his wife through a Caesarean Section (CS) in Enugu.

The intervention was disclosed in a statement signed by the Secretary of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, Hon. Mrs. Uche M. Eze, who said the support underscores the Foundation’s commitment to easing the financial burden of healthcare for vulnerable individuals and families.

According to the statement, the Foundation approved ₦300,000 after receiving an application from the cleric seeking assistance to settle hospital bills incurred after his wife’s delivery at Emmanuel and Grace Hospital, Egbuonu Street, Amechi Road, Enugu.

The cheque was formally presented to the beneficiary on May 11, 2026, at the Foundation’s office.

Presenting the cheque on behalf of the Board of Trustees, Barr. Peter Aniagboso congratulated Rev. Chukwujekwu and his family on the birth of their baby, while reaffirming the Foundation’s dedication to supporting healthcare-related needs.

He also prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the family and stressed the importance of ensuring access to quality healthcare for those in need.

Reacting to the gesture, Rev. Henry Chukwujekwu expressed profound appreciation to the Chairman of the Foundation, Rt. Hon. Dr. Festus Uzor, and members of the Board for their timely intervention.

“I sincerely thank Rt. Hon. Dr. Festus Uzor and the entire Dr. Uzor Cares Foundation team for their kindness, compassion, and timely intervention during a critical moment for my family,” he said.

The Foundation noted that the intervention is part of its broader humanitarian mission to provide hope and relief to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances through its growing network of charitable programmes.
