The Dr. Uzor Cares Foundation has provided financial assistance to two persons in need of urgent medical attention, totaling N200,000.
The cheque presentation which took place on February 24, 2025, at the Foundation’s office, is part of the Foundation’s efforts to assist vulnerable individuals and families.
The first beneficiary, Mrs. Virginia Igwebuike from Obeleagu Umana community in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State received a cheque of N100,000 through her son, Hon.Chibuzor Igwebuike, to support her medical bill at Goodness and Mercy Hospital, Emene. Unfortunately, despite this effort, the Foundation sadly learnt that her health took a turn for the worse.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, particularly her son, Hon. Chibuzor Igwebuike, who had reached out to the Foundation for this financial assistance. We can only imagine the pain and difficulty they must be going through, and we want them to know that we share in their grief.
In a related development, the Foundation also provided financial support to Mr. Enebe Paschal Echezonachukwu from Umana Ndiuno in Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State, whose wife gave birth at Enugu State University of Science and Technology Teaching Hospital, Parklane, Enugu through a Cesarean section Surgery. Mr. Enebe had reached out to the Foundation for assistance with the medical bill.
Presenting the cheques at the Foundation’s secretariat, Mrs. Uche Eze informed the beneficiaries that the Foundation prioritizes health due to its great importance.
The beneficiaries thanked Rt. Hon. Dr. Festus Uzor and his team for their kindness and support.
The Dr. Uzor Cares Foundation’s rapidly growing compassionate interventions have brought hope and relief to numerous otherwise despondent families, and these acts of kindness are expected to inspire others to follow in their footsteps.
