Dr. Uzor Cares Foundation has come to the aid of 83 year old Mrs. Veronica Enekwenchi, an indigene of Neke Oghe in Ezeagu LGA, who needed financial help to undergo an urgent and crucial surgical procedure at Divine Grace Hospital and Maternity, Enugu.
Her Son, Hon Kenneth okezie Enekwenchi, had sought the assistance of the Foundation in the circumstance and the Foundation acted swiftly by reaching out to the hospital on 2nd December 2024 with a cheque of N200,000 (Two hundred thousand) to enable her undergo the surgical repair for supraumblical hernia.
The Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr.Okafor Ikechukwu Jovita, commended the Foundation for her selflessness and commitment in service to humanity. It was an interesting visit as Dr Jovita went down the memory lane on who Dr Fetus Uzor is to him and that of the society, describing him as a man who is given to helping the needy people discretely. He continued.
“We will be taking Mrs Enekwenchi to the theater for the surgery tomorrow and this is possible because of Dr Uzor Cares Foundation’s support.”
In a brief remark, Hon. Enekwenchi Kenneth thanked the Chairman, Board of Trustees of Dr. Uzor Cares Foundation, Rt. Hon.Dr. Festus Uzor, for his swift response and assistance and prayed that God Almighty will keep protecting him for the love he has for Humanity.
The Foundation’s delegation was led by Barr. Peter Aniagbaoso. Other persons in attendance were Hon. Mrs. Uche Eze and Mr. Chijioke Jideofor.
The Foundation was reliably informed that this procedure was done successfully on 3rd December 2024 to the Glory of God
