Dr. Uzor Cares Foundation gifted 100 indigent widows and physically challenged persons in Ezeagu LGA bags of rice and cash gifts to help them to celebrate the Christmas and New Year without much financial difficulties.
In line with the charge from the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation; Rt. Hon. Dr. FSA Uzor, a team from the Foundation led by Hon. Ebube Nebo went round the 20 Wards in Ezeagu LGA on December 16th and 17th, 2024 to implement this kind gesture. Other members of the team were Dr. Kingsley Okongwu, Hon. Ernest Eziokwu, Comr Ezenwa Ijegalu, Hon. Pascal Okongwu and Hon. Chukwuma Oguji.
In the process, 100 indigent widows and physically challenged persons (5 per ward) received a bag of Rice and N10,000 cash each. The beneficiaries (poorest of the poor) were selected in consultation with the stakeholders/community leaders without partisan consideration.
This exercise was greeted with joy from the beneficiaries while they prayed for God’s blessing on the Foundation.
Umu Ezeagu Igbudu, as we celebrate the joy and magic of the Yuletide season, let us take a moment to appreciate the extraordinary work of the Dr. Uzor Cares Foundation in Ezeagu LGA and beyond.
