Dr Uzor Cares Foundation, true to her commitment, has also assisted one Mrs Igbokwe Chiamaka from Obeleagu Umanna in Ezeagu LGA in the payment of her hospital bill in respect of treatment for pregnancy related ailment at Virgo Potens Hospital, Independence Layout, Enugu.
The beneficiary’s husband, Mr. Ikechukwu Igbokwe, had sought financial assistance from the Foundation in paying down the hospital bill of his wife for her treatment at the above mentioned hospital due to threatened miscarriage.
On 18th November 2024, the Foundation visited the Virgo Potens Hospital for this purpose. Barr. Peter Aniagbaoso who spoke on behalf of the Foundation thanked the Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr Madu Ikechukwu, for his dexterity in handling the Obstetric case and presented a cheque of Two Hundred Thousand Naira (N200,000) towards the woman’s medical bill.
While receiving the cheque, Dr.Madu expressed great joy that the Foundation is able to offer such help to people in need. He described Chiamaka’s case as a severe one that could lead to miscarriage. He continued “we have done all we could to save her baby and we are glad that her baby is well as confirmed from our ultrasonography scan. We will conduct regular checkup on her till delivery.
In appreciation, the husband to Mrs.Chiamaka thanked Dr.Uzor Cares Foundation for the remarkable show of love to his family.
The Foundation’s delegation included Hon.Mrs .Uche Eze , Secretary of the Foundation’s Trustees, and Mr.Chijioke Jideofor, a Trustee of the Foundation.
