On 30th April 2025, Dr. Uzor Cares Foundation supported Mr. Aloysius Nnamdi Enemuo, son of Mrs Felicia Enemuo from Iwollo in Ezeagu LGA, who was attacked by hoodlums on his way back from work in Onitsha, to clear his medical bills.
This unfortunate incident led to the amputation of his left hand at the Orthopedic Hospital Enugu, resulting in significant medical bills for the family.
As part of Dr. Uzor Cares Foundation’s commitment to lifting the needy, a cheque of ₦200,000 was presented to Mrs. Felicia Enemuo in support of her son’s medical bills. Barr. Peter Aniagboso represented the Foundation during the presentation.
Receiving the cheque, Mrs. Enemuo thanked Dr. Uzor Cares Foundation for coming to their family’s aid, describing the Foundation as a life saver. She expressed her surprise and gratitude, saying, “I never knew that this Foundation will one day come to my assistance because the Foundation is from my hometown.” She prayed for the Foundation’s BOT Chairman, Rt. Hon. Dr. Festus Uzor and thanked him for granting her request.
The presentation ceremony was attended by Hon. Mrs. Uche Eze, the Foundation’s BOT, Secretary and Mr. Jideofor Chijioke, Foundation’s BOT, Member.
