The Dr. Uzor Cares Foundation has provided SME Grant of N1 million to Mrs. Anieke Chinasa Blessing, a widow and mother of four young children.

This remarkable act took place on February 27, 2025, at the Foundation’s office.

Mrs. Anieke’s husband, Mr. Anieke Chukwuemeka Johnmark (Okadigbo), died on May 21, 2024, leaving her to care for their young children alone.

The SME Grant presented by Chief Aniagboso Peter, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, aims to empower Mrs. Anieke to scale up her business and provide for her children’s upkeep.

Accompanied by her two sons, Anieke Munachimso and Anieke Uzoeghelu, as well as Prince Onyekachi Cyriacus, Social Welfare Officer of Agba Umana Town Union, and the elder sister of the deceased, Mrs Arinze Celestina, Mrs. Anieke expressed her profound gratitude to the Chairman, Rt Hon. Dr. F.S.A Uzor, and the Members of the Dr. Uzor Cares Foundation’s Trustees.

The elder sister of the deceased, Mrs. Arinze Celestina, also expressed her joy and gratitude, describing the SME Grant as timely and unprecedented while praying that the land of Ezeagu would reward Rt. Hon. Dr. F.S.A Uzor and his team immeasurably.

Rt. Hon. Dr. Uzor remarked that the Foundation is committed to making positive impact in the lives of those who need it most and is pleased to assist Mrs. Anieke and her family during this challenging time.

This is part of our commitment to providing a safety net for vulnerable families and empowering them to build a brighter future, he said.

This occasion also had Hon Mrs Uche M Eze, Secretary, Trustees of the Foundation, in attendance.

A group photograph was taken at the end of the ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the Foundation’s efforts to support vulnerable members of the society.

As the Dr. Uzor Cares Foundation continues to touch lives and make a difference, we are reminded that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a profound impact on those in need.
